Information you provide
When you create or update an account, we may collect your name, email address, dental school, planned AFK test date, study preferences and notification choices. We also store the notes, bookmarks, quiz answers and other study activity you choose to save.
Account and study activity
We process quiz and mock exam sessions, scores, question history, slide progress, bookmarks, notes and subscription status so the platform can save your work, restore sessions, apply plan access and show performance information.
Payments
Stripe processes subscription payments and billing management. Dental World does not store your full payment card number. We receive payment and subscription records needed to activate access, manage billing status, prevent duplicate processing and respond to billing questions.
Authentication and storage
Supabase provides account authentication, database and file storage services for Dental World. Account and study information is processed through those services to operate the platform.
Analytics and cookies
Dental World may use Google Analytics to understand page visits and product interactions. Authentication cookies keep you signed in, while browser storage may remember analytics consent and interactive study state. Where analytics consent is required by the site configuration, analytics loads only after consent is granted.

When information is shared
Information may be shared with service providers that help operate Dental World, including Supabase, Stripe, Google Analytics and hosting providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the platform and its users, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required business and payment records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update available profile and study settings inside your account. You can ask about access, correction or deletion of personal information by emailing info@dentalworld.ca. Some information may need to be retained when required for legal, security or accounting purposes.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published.
