An AFK mock exam brings several dental subjects into one session. That makes it different from a focused quiz, where you choose one or more subjects. The goal is to practise switching between clinical problems, foundational knowledge and different styles of reasoning while maintaining a steady pace.
Mock results are most useful as study evidence, not as a promise about an official result. Look beyond the overall percentage. Review which subjects caused difficulty, whether errors came from missing knowledge or rushed reading, and which correct answers were low confidence. Those details give you a better next step than the score alone.
Dental World offers 12 fixed mock exams. You choose an available exam, move through the questions and use the question navigator to revisit marked items. Answers save when selected, so the review reflects what you actually chose. If you leave an unfinished session, resume protection helps you return without silently losing the attempt.
Mock exam results are reported separately from custom quiz results. This keeps two different kinds of practice from being blended into one number. Focused quizzes show how you are working within selected subjects. Mock exams show how you perform across a predetermined mixed set.
Free accounts can answer the first 20 questions in AFK mock exams 1 through 5. Premium Monthly includes every available question in mock exams 1 through 7. Premium Annual includes all 12 complete Dental World mock exams. The number of questions in each exam is fixed by the published exam set and cannot be changed by the learner.
Dental World mock exams are independent preparation materials. They are not official NDEB examinations, do not contain recalled questions and are not presented as exact replicas of a future official exam.
Use an early mock as a baseline after you have reviewed enough material to interpret the result. During the main study period, space mock exams between focused review blocks. This gives you time to act on the findings before the next simulation. Near your exam date, a mock can help you rehearse pacing, breaks and the mental effort of a longer mixed session.
Avoid taking several mock tests in a row without reviewing them. The learning happens when you inspect the explanation, identify the reason for each error and return to the related concept. A smaller number of carefully reviewed attempts is usually more useful than repeatedly collecting scores.
Choose a custom quiz when you want control over subjects, timing and question pools such as unused, incorrect or bookmarked questions. Choose an AFK mock exam when you want a fixed set and a broader practice experience. Both tools belong in a balanced plan, but they answer different questions about your preparation.
For concept review before a mock, explore the AFK textbook and study deck library. For targeted retrieval practice, use the AFK question bank. When you are ready to compare access levels, review the Free, Monthly and Annual plans.
