AFK examination cadence
The NDEB currently states that the AFK is offered twice a year, in February and August. Exact dates, registration opening times, deadlines and locations are published by the NDEB and are subject to change.
Confirm your own registration details
Check the official dates and locations page, then use NDEBConnect for registration and candidate-specific documents. Electronic candidates receive instructions for scheduling their Prometric seat after the registration deadline.
Avoid relying on copied date lists
A date quoted by a third-party website can become outdated. Confirm the examination date, time zone, delivery method and registration deadline before arranging travel or changing your study schedule.
Plan backwards from a confirmed date
Reserve the final weeks for cumulative review, mixed timed practice and recovery. Keep room for administrative tasks and avoid building a plan that depends on unconfirmed dates.
